Ghost Location rental platform
Luxury car rental platform for Ghost Location — bilingual public site, manual-review bookings, and a full admin back office.
View live siteThe Challenge
A luxury car rental operator needed a public fleet and gallery that matched the brand, plus a booking path staff could review by hand — no online checkout — and an admin back office for inventory, reservations, and photography.
Methodical Approach
Luxury public surface
Dark charcoal and gold, English and French routes, fleet and gallery as first-class pages — not a generic rental template with a logo swap.
Shared booking contracts
Frontend and backend consume the same Zod schemas for vehicles, availability, and reservations so the multi-step booking form and API cannot drift.
Review, then confirm
Customers request a car; staff confirm in admin. Netlify hosts the Next.js app and serverless API; Turso and Netlify Blobs hold data and assets.

Ghost Location is a premium rental brand. The product is the site operators actually run: browse the fleet, open a vehicle, request dates, and wait for staff to confirm. Customers look up a reservation by reference and can cancel online until 48 hours before pickup. Collateral and insurance lines show in the price summary; payment stays offline by design.
The admin side is the other half of the same system — vehicle CRUD with bilingual fields, gallery bulk upload, booking status and calendar, analytics exports, and notification preferences. Auth is JWT with lockout after failed attempts. Later patches (through v1.1.4) hardened production uploads on Netlify.
